Northwest Adventist Church would like to begin the New Year by creating another opportunity for worship and sharing a fresh vision about our identity, by adding an early worship service (9:00 AM) for everyone who wants to strictly follow the safety protocol like wearing a face mask/shield, keeping the social distance and everything else concerning public health. We want to create space and time for everybody to experience God, worship, study and pray together. By God's grace and with your support, January the 2nd 2021 is going to be the first Sabbath with two public worship services. The second service is going to begin at 10:30 AM followed by the Sabbath School class. Once church, one Spirit, one eschatological understanding, one missional goal - two public services. May God bless His people.

Indiana Conference is hosting a virtual prayer summit on January 9, 2021 from 3:00-5:00 pm. This event is open to all who wish to participate. “We are now nearing the close of another year, and shall we not make these festal days opportunities in which to bring to God our offerings? I cannot say sacrifices, for we shall only be rendering to God that which is His already, and which he has only entrusted to us till He shall call for it. God would be well pleased if on Christmas, each church would have a Christmas tree on which shall be hung offerings, great and small, for these houses of worship.

Letters of inquiry have come to us asking, Shall we have a Christmas tree? will it not be like the world? We answer, You can make it like the world if you have a disposition to do so, or you can make it as unlike the world as possible. There is no particular sin in selecting a fragrant evergreen and placing it in our churches; but the sin lies in the motive which prompts to action, and the use which is made of the gifts placed upon the tree.” (RH Dec. 11, 1879, par. 15)
